How can my desktop icons move themselves,my mouse pointer
move sometime to in different directions and music I
don't select plays on my speakers.I've ran Norton, spybot
search and destroy,adaware,hijackthis(and removed
everything in the listings, except for my homepage of
google)they all show clear of spyware and viruses, fire
wall is on,and I have Zone alarm also.It even does this
if I unplug my cable modem and just leave it set.Is it
configured wrong or do I have a ghost running my hard
drive.A local computer store says it could be a bot,and I
should bring it in for a checkup. What can I do to fix
this myself.

I think I found my problem, could it be when someone on
another screen name changes the settings in display
properties to a different setting it moves everyone icons
when it sets back.Like my son 1024x768 then sets it back
to 600x800,the icons change places,(how can I get this
not to affect my user login?)And the boy had a alarm
clock set up on his screen name so it would start to play
when set.Why does it play on my user name when he stays
logged in,when switching screen names? Forget about the
mouse it had peanut butter on the ball,a whole different
issue I've been working on(no eating at the computer
station)and I think i've taken care of.I'm not going to
have any trouble for 2 weeks. But why when you leave a
user open does it affect the other users on the computer?

try this go to control panel user accounts, and select his
user account then reset him from administrator to limited
then you wont have anymore problems and a good
leather strap works better than 2 weeks without the
computer he will use a friends computer anyway, but if his
rear is blistered every time he sits in the chair for the
next two weeks he will remember he's not at a
resturante
