My desktop pc, OS: Windows XP Home Edition SP2, .
Have had to reformat hard drive and reload Operating System.
PC continually restarts and gets to the point of Windows XP Home Edition
screen. Then goes to black screen and goes through entire list of all
drivers, etc. loading, then goes to total black screen and shuts down, then
starts the same process of same symptoms again & again. Cannot load in Safe
Mode, Previously working mode, or any other mode. Windows XP HOME Edition
never loads. Eventually it goes to the old, "Blue Screen of Death" and the
following :

STOP: c0000218 Unknown Hard Error
Unknown Hard Error
Beginning Dump of physical memory

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

I was checking the web and it could be related to a harddisk drive error or
a corrupted registry. My advise it is to boot with windows XP CD and go to
the recovery consule and run a CHKDSK /f, and check the integrity of your
hard disk.

Let me know how it goes.
